I was worried the job would cost a fortune after a previous quote which had suggested it would take a full day, with the need for scaffolding, as the end tiles needed to be lifted to get the job done. I employed Ross to strip the concrete tiled roof on my lean-to kitchen and replace with slate to match the rest of the house, with two new Velux roof windows. This involved removal of existing tiles, felt, battens and flashing, replacement of some decayed timber with some changes to accomodate the new windows. New slates, windows and lead flashing with new battens and membrane, were installed to a high standard with the finished job looking very smart and neat with general making good of brickwork with lime mortar to maintain the integrity of the building.
